A New Year. Continuing the Journey.

If you’ve been here for a while, you already know this story has been unfolding.

This year, it finally has a name: The Ticket Home.

The new year often arrives with a quiet question: What are you carrying forward—and what are you finally ready to return to?

This moment isn’t about announcing something new. It’s about standing firmly in the work that’s already in motion.

Over the past weeks, I’ve shared glimpses of the sequel to The Ticket to Freedom in fragments, reflections, and small check-ins along the way. As the calendar turns, I’m still here—writing, revising, and sitting with the weight and tenderness of this story.

Where The Ticket Home Is Now

The Ticket Home continues the journey we began together—moving beyond departure and into return. It’s a story about what happens after freedom, after distance, after reinvention. About love that has grown in new soil, and the complicated pull of the place that shaped you first.

This book asks deeper questions:

  • What does home mean once you’ve changed?
  • Can love survive the past it must now face?
  • Who are you when both worlds are watching?

This is a slower story. A more intentional one. And it deserves the time it’s being given.

Looking Ahead

As we step into the new year, I’m recommitting to finishing this story with honesty and care.

The Ticket Home is coming April 10, 2026.

Not rushed. Not rewritten to please. But told the way it needs to be told.

Thank you for staying with me through the process—through the drafts, the pauses, the reflections. This journey has never been just mine, and I don’t take that lightly.

Here’s to continuing forward.

Here’s to returning with intention.
