One Month Published — And Still Pinching Myself

December 7th, marked one entire month since The Ticket to Freedom stepped out into the world.

Thirty days since David’s journey — a journey filled with silence, longing, and the courage to finally choose himself — found its first readers. Thirty days since I became, officially and undeniably, a published author.

This month has been a whirlwind of emotions. Pride. Vulnerability. Excitement. Fear. And above all — gratitude. Every notification that someone downloaded the book, every feedback that said “I see myself in this,” every moment someone stayed up late flipping pages… it all still feels unreal.

When I wrote this story, I was writing from places I once tucked away:
 • The tension between who we are and who we’re told to be
 • The ache of leaving home to find one
 • The bravery of queer identity in a world that demands silence
 • The delicate hope of love without fear

To know that readers are connecting with these pieces — that they’re rooting for David, grieving with him, growing with him — means more than I can ever express.

This is just the beginning of his journey. And mine.

Thank you for showing up. Thank you for reading. Thank you for believing that stories like this matter — because they do.

If you haven’t stepped into David’s world yet, here’s your chance.

The Ticket to Freedom is available now on Amazon & Kindle.

Cheers to one month down… and a beautiful road ahead.
